Last year we launched Baruru and it was so well received! We’re back this summer to share some delicious dishes and wonderful histories again! We’re in a brand new venue - 83 Dalston Lane and have a fabulous new host - Historian and Doctoral researcher, Renee Landell. Join us for another evening of delicious cooking and beautiful story telling. Baruru is back!

Baruru, the indigenous word for plantain, named by the Kalinago people who originally inhabited the islands. The Baruru Supper Club celebrates the histories and food culture of the Caribbean through a series of traditional dishes curated and cooked by chef Keshia Sakarah, host and histories by Renee Landell.
